Pekah Wallace is no stranger to employers in Connecticut and the many different attorneys who represent them. She is the former Manager of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO), and Principal Mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC). Having full insight and knowledge of the anti-discrimination laws and the nuances of enforcement at both the state and federal levels, Ms. Wallace has earned the trust, respect and admiration of employers and complainants alike, and the attorneys who represent them.
Ms. Wallace has personally mediated thousands of cases of alleged discrimination that would have otherwise resulted in long, drawn-out and costly investigations. Similarly, Ms. Wallace has conducted and managed the investigation of thousands of other such cases in which she has cut investigation time in half, and saved employers millions of dollars, time and resources. In addition, Ms. Wallace has conducted training for employers in all areas of employer/employee relationships as well as training mandated by state and federal governments in areas of sexual harassment, the American with disabilities Act (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Ms. Wallace has decades of sound knowledge and experience investigating and mediating employee complaints, training management personnel in all aspects of workplace disputes and building strong, productive employer/employee relations.
